Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Plumbing Engineer to manage and execute all plumbing works on-site. The role focuses on installation, supervision, coordination, and delivery of plumbing systems in compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead on-site plumbing installation works, including water supply, drainage, sewage, stormwater, and irrigation systems.

· Supervise installation of pipes, pumps, tanks, valves, and sanitary fixtures.

· Ensure execution as per approved shop drawings, IFC drawings, and method statements.

· Monitor daily site activities, manpower, and productivity.

· Review shop drawings and coordination drawings before execution.

· Coordinate with HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and civil teams to avoid clashes.

· Prepare MSRA & material submittals and approvals.

· Ensure all works comply with IPC, UPC, and UAE authority requirements (DEWA/ADDC, Municipality, Civil Défense).

· Supervise and coordinate pressure testing, flushing, and system commissioning.

· Manage site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.

· Provide technical guidance to junior staff.

· Prepare daily reports, progress updates, and look-ahead schedules.

· Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations on-site.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering · 8–12+ years of experience in MEP contracting (site execution of plumbing works) · Strong knowledge of Pump Calculations & plumbing systems (domestic water, drainage, stormwater, Irrigation & Hot Water Systems) · Familiarity with international codes (IPC, UPC) · Good understanding of UAE authority & DEWA requirements · Knowledge in AutoCAD · Experience in BOQs, material take-offs, and site planning
