Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Irrigation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain efficient irrigation systems for landscaping, agricultural, commercial, or infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in irrigation design, water distribution systems, site supervision, and maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with project specifications and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop irrigation systems including drip, sprinkler, and automated irrigation networks.

• Prepare irrigation layouts, hydraulic calculations, and technical drawings.

• Review project specifications, BOQs, and irrigation design requirements.

• Supervise installation and maintenance of irrigation systems on-site.

• Monitor water usage efficiency and recommend sustainable irrigation solutions.

• Coordinate with landscape architects, MEP teams, contractors, and consultants.

• Inspect irrigation materials, pumps, valves, pipelines, and control systems for quality compliance.

• Troubleshoot irrigation system issues and recommend corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and municipality regulations.

• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and maintenance schedules.

• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 3–8 years of irrigation engineering experience.

• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, pumps, hydraulics, and water management.

• Experience with AutoCAD and irrigation design software.

• Knowledge of landscaping and infrastructure projects preferred.

• Good project coordination and communication skills.

• UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
