We are seeking a dedicated HSE Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be pivotal in enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards across major railway and infrastructure projects, ensuring safe work environments and compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures tailored to railway, construction, tunnel, station, and infrastructure projects. - Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. - Ensure compliance with UAE's local and federal HSE regulations as well as international standards. - Lead safety training programs for all on-site personnel to foster a culture of safety awareness and best practices. - Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare detailed reports, and propose preventive measures to avoid recurrence. - Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution. - Monitor and report HSE performance metrics to management and recommend improvements.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. - Proven experience as an HSE Engineer within railway or large-scale construction projects, preferably in the Middle East. - Strong knowledge of local HSE laws, standards, and best practices, particularly within UAE regulations. - Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is highly desirable. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders. - Proactive problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and a commitment to safety excellence. - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
