Role Overview


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Executive with strong expertise in sourcing ladies handbags, wallets, and fashion accessories. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, building supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, and ensuring timely availability of products while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.


This role requires a strong understanding of fashion retail trends, international sourcing markets, and procurement operations within the retail or fashion accessories industry.


Key Responsibilities


  • Source and procure ladies handbags, wallets, and fashion accessories from local and international suppliers
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors and suppliers to expand sourcing opportunities
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, and contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement
  • Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitor activities to support product selection and purchasing decisions
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and product availability
  • Monitor product quality standards and ensure compliance with company requirements
  • Handle purchase orders, procurement documentation, and supplier payment follow-ups
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and inventory coordination
  • Evaluate supplier performance and build long-term vendor relationships
  • Collaborate with internal departments including sales, merchandising, and warehouse teams to support business operations

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Fashion Merchandising, or related field
  • Procurement or supply chain certifications would be an added advantage
  • Minimum 5–7 years of purchasing/procurement experience
  • Prior experience in handbags, fashion accessories, retail, leather goods, or lifestyle products industry is highly preferred
  • Experience in UAE or international sourcing markets is required
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Good understanding of fashion trends, materials, and product quality standards
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain coordination
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to analyze pricing, market trends, and supplier performance
