Roles & Responsibilities

Our Tier 1 Civil Contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced Camp, Welfare and Security Manager to join their team in Dubai to work on a new offshore residential project. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Camp and Welfare Manager looking after labor camps accommodating in excess of 350 staff and/or managing camps based offshore, ideally having worked for a main contractors previously managing labor camps, worker welfare, camp facilities and security.


This role is available for immediate joining and is hiring on a permanent, direct hire basis, employed by our client


Key Responsibilities:

The Camp, Welfare and Security Manager holds responsibility to manage company accommodation, facilities, camp administration, worker welfare, camp security and logistics coordination including drivers and transportation.

  • Manage daily operations of the workers’ camp and accommodation facilities

  • Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and hygiene within the camp premises

  • Allocate rooms and maintain updated occupancy records

  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping activities

  • Ensure availability of water, electricity, and other basic services

  • Handle complaints and welfare issues of camp residents

  • Manage drivers, vehicle movements, and daily transportation schedules for site staff and workers

  • Coordinate logistics between camp, sites, and office for manpower transportation

  • Monitor fuel usage, vehicle condition, and driver attendance

  • Coordinate catering, cleaning, and laundry services (if applicable)

  • Ensure compliance with municipality and safety regulations

  • Maintain records of camp assets, furniture, vehicles, and equipment

  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas




Desired Candidate Profile

Camp, Welfare & Security Manager Experience:

  • Minimum 6-10 years experience as Camp Boss / Camp Manager, at least 3 in the UAE

  • Previous experience in managing camp, welfare and security for in excess of 350 residents is essential

  • Previous experience in managing offshore labor accommodation is highly advantageous

  • Experience managing workers’ accommodation and transportation logistics

  • Ability to organize daily transport schedules

  • Good knowledge of security, camp administration and facility management

  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Word) for record keeping

  • Good communication skills in English (Hindi/Arabic is an advantage)
