Eperience: Minimum 18–20+ years in the MEP / Construction industry
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Oversee the overall planning, design/engineering, coordination, implementation, and execution of assigned services and projects, while monitoring and controlling project progress.
- Lead and manage Managers, Engineers, and Sub-contractors across all MEP systems and related activities.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Site Team to ensure effective execution of project objectives.
- Supervise and govern all project operations, including allocation of responsibilities to site engineers and foremen.
- Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and clients to ensure timely submission and approval of materials and subcontractors.
- Attend daily and weekly meetings with management, consultants, contractors, and clients, ensuring all assigned actions are completed within the agreed timelines.
- Follow up with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and execution of project requirements.
- Ensure efficient planning and optimal utilization of manpower and materials, while implementing cost-effective strategies for successful project completion.
- Monitor construction progress, oversee financial performance, and maintain high standards of project quality.
- Work collaboratively across both office and construction site environments.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure all permits, approvals, and legal documentation are secured prior to project execution.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to prevent delays and protect organizational reputation.
- Perform any additional duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.
Working Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 20+ years of proven experience in MEP project management.
- Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale and complex MEP projects within schedule and budget constraints.
- Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and team management abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to identify and mitigate project risks effectively.
- Thorough knowledge of international and local codes, standards, and regulations.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
