A leading insurance company in the UAE is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Board Secretary to support the Board of Directors and ensure strong corporate governance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate Board and Committee meetings, including preparation of agendas and board packs
- Record accurate minutes and ensure proper documentation of resolutions
- Maintain statutory records and corporate documents in line with regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance frameworks and applicable UAE regulations
- Liaise with Board members, executive management, and regulators
- Monitor follow-up on Board resolutions and action items
Skills
Requirements:
- UAE National (Family Book required) or any Arabic Nationality is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Corporate Governance, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector
- Strong knowledge of UAE corporate governance regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail
