Location: SOL Coffee - Business Bay

Position: Chef Hot kitchen & Basic Pastry/Dessert
-Prepare and cook food, including basic pastries and desserts, according to café standards
-Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
-Follow recipes and maintain proper portion control
-Manage daily kitchen operations, including prep and workflow organization
-Monitor stock levels, control costs, and minimize waste
-Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards
-Coordinate with front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
-Organize kitchen setup and equipment for efficient operations
Skills
-Experience in hot kitchen and ability to prepare basic pastries/desserts
-Good understanding of cooking techniques and basic baking fundamentals
-Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent quality
-Able to work in a fast-paced environment
-Knowledge of kitchen equipment and proper usage
-Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
-Team player with a responsible and positive attitude
-Previous café or brunch experience is preferred
