Job Description
- Prepare and review electrical design calculations (load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, cable sizing, earthing, lighting, etc.)
- Develop single line diagrams (SLD), schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Design and specify: LV/MV power distribution systems / Transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS systems / Lighting and small power systems
- Perform equipment sizing and selection based on project requirements
- Prepare material requisitions (MR), technical bid evaluations (TBE), and vendor document reviews
- Coordinate with multidiscipline teams (mechanical, instrumentation, civil, process)
- Support HAZOP, SIL, and design review meetings
- Assist in construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities when required
- Review and approve shop drawings and as-built drawings
- Provide technical support during project execution and client interactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years in electrical design within Oil & Gas EPC projects.
- Experience in ADNOC Projects will be an added advantage.
