We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager with a strong background in construction and contracting to join a dynamic team delivering major high-rise building projects.
The ideal candidate must have solid experience working with contractors (not consultants) and a proven track record in managing procurement for civil consultancies, structural works, and enabling works across complex construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies for civil consultancies, structural works, and enabling works
Manage end-to-end procurement processes including tendering, vendor evaluation, contract negotiations, and commercial control
Coordinate with project management, engineering, design, legal, and finance teams to ensure smooth procurement execution
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
Drive cost optimization through market analysis, value engineering, and strategic negotiations
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal requirements, and project timelines
Support estimation, budgeting, feasibility analysis, and procurement planning
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum 7+ years of experience as Procurement Manager / Category Manager or similar role
Mandatory experience in high-rise building projects
Strong contracting and construction background is essential
Proven experience in estimation, tendering, and procurement
Experience dealing directly with clients and consultants
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Resilient personality with the ability to perform under pressure
Contractor-side experience is mandatory (consultancy background alone is not suitable)
