We are looking to hire a Executive- Purchase & Inventory Control for our DXB workshop who will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring spare parts, tools, and consumables required for maintenance and repair operations of Heavy Vehicles. The role ensures timely availability of materials at the best cost while maintaining quality standards and supporting uninterrupted workshop activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure spare parts, tools, lubricants, and workshop consumables
Obtain and evaluate quotations from multiple suppliers
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
Create and process purchase orders in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Coordinate with workshop supervisors to understand material requirements
Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery
Maintain supplier database and build strong vendor relationships
Ensure quality and specification compliance of purchased items
Handle returns, replacements, and discrepancies with suppliers
Monitor stock levels in coordination with inventory/store team
Prepare purchasing reports and cost analysis
Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
2–5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in a workshop, automotive, or industrial environment
Desired Candidate Profile
Knowledge of spare parts and workshop materials
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement processes
Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
Good communication and coordination skills
