Job description
We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Officer to join our growing interior design and fit-out company based in the UAE.
This is a performance-rewarded role for a self-starter who can independently generate leads, close project deals, and manage client relationships end-to-end — from first conversation through to project delivery.
You will work across a diverse client base including residential homeowners, real estate developers, corporate clients, and hospitality & F&B brands.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across the UAE market
- Build and leverage a network of referrals, agents, consultants, and industry contacts to maintain a strong pipeline
- Represent the company at client meetings, showrooms, and industry events
- Execute outreach strategies across digital and in-person channels
Sales & Conversion
- Manage the full sales cycle: qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closing
- Prepare and present tailored project proposals and fee structures in coordination with the design team
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and deal stages in the CRM
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients from enquiry through project handover
- Manage client expectations, timelines, and communications to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within active accounts
Subcontractor & Supplier Coordination
- Source, vet, and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers in line with project requirements
- Negotiate pricing and timelines to protect project margins
- Maintain preferred vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance
Skills
3–6 years of business development or sales experience in interior design, fit-out, or construction
Proven track record of closing projects with residential, developer, corporate, or hospitality clients in the UAE
Existing network within the Dubai and/or Abu Dhabi interior design and real estate market
Experience coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers in a project environment
Strong commercial acumen — able to read project scopes, negotiate, and protect margins
Proficiency with CRM tools
Excellent English communication skills — Arabic is a strong advantage
Self-directed and able to work independently in a remote/hybrid setup
