We are hiring successful candidate for the role of Group General Manager (Oil & Gas) Industries (API Machine Shop Products & ASME Fabrication Unit) in reputed (Oil&Gas) drilling equipment’s manufacturing Industries. Planning & Operations of the local business unit in UAE. Reporting to the Chairman, the Group GM will manage, direct operation, leads the organization and provide boost to all functions within the UAE office. These include planning, development objectives, developing organizational policies, integrate functions and operations between departments, and establish responsibilities and procedures to achieve the organizations’ strategic objectives.
Responsibilities Drive business opportunities throughout GCC / Middle East, with the aim of expanding to new markets or capture additional market share.· Structure of the Profit and Loss Statements.· Statement of profit and loss is portrayed over a period of time, typically a month, quarter, or fiscal year.· Revenue· Manufacturing Material , manage sales department.· General & Administrative (SG&A) operations.· Marketing and Advertising Strategies / Business Planning· Technology/Research & Development· Prepare and present Annual Operating Sales Plan to Senior Management.· Make Professional Policy & Procedures· Set KPI Targets for all Departments.· Chair Weekly/Monthly /Annual Management Review Meetings.· Possesses extensive experience in O&G / Petrochemical industry with working knowledge of relevant international codes and standards such as:- API Specification Q1- API Monogram – API -6A - API Monogram – API -16A - API Monogram – API – 16C - API Monogram – API -5CT- API Monogram – API – 7 – 1- ISO Quality Management System (QMS) 9001 : 2015- ISO Environmental Management System (EMS) 14001 : 2015- ISO Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) 45001:2018- ASME (PP) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code – Fabrication & Assembly of pressure piping- ASME (PP) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code – Manufacturing & Assembly of power boiler- ASME (PP) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code – Manufacturer of Pressure Vessels- Hilong – Certification of Qualification – HLDS / HLIDS / HLMT/ HLST & HLIST- Certificate of Qualification DPM-DS Connections DPM- ST Connections· Maintain customer relationships in cooperation with the Business Areas for Multiple Industrial Development programs in the UAE and serves as the in-country Industrial Development team leader.· Work with Industrial Development teams in supporting the development of strategic industrial development proposals to meet cross-corporate needs.· Provide recommendations to strategically enhance the corporation’s international growth objectives· Provide liaison for Business Areas with all industrial partners, Offset Authority, UAE industries/businesses and various business councils.· Establish and maintain key relationships among key business, military and academic leaders and senior country officials.· The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth.· The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives and ideas to achieve our best What You Will Do:· Understanding of market context (Trends, Competitive dynamics, Customer needs, Innovation)· Value driver analysis (Industry economics, Client/Customer segment )· Create Value Proposition (create offering, define value documentation)· Prioritization of targets (Segmenting, targeting and positioning, Sales strategies and support, Key Account definition)· Develop short and long-term strategies and plans for demand generation, on-going market research, customer needs assessment, sales and inventory forecasting, and customer and sales history analysis.· Execute marketing strategies, programs, and pricing strategies which will meet profit objectives for the business unit.· Presence to engage senior leadership and key decision-makers in UAE; demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior leadership and key decision-makers in UAE; demonstrated ability to share information and to coordinate with Corporate and Business Areas.· Act with prior consultation, coordination, and communication among Business Area Industrial Development leadership to further business industrial strategies/objectives and enable most favorable policy/regulatory environment and most efficient discharge of industrial obligations; ensures complete coordination with Business Areas prior to in-country engagements/messaging.· Present proposed corporate and business area industrial initiatives/projects to country senior leadership and key decision-makers and obtain buy-in.· Conducts business in strict compliance with all corporate and company command media and within applicable state, federal, and international laws and regulations.· Chosen candidate will be required to live in Dubai, UAE. Required skills, qualifications and experience· Highly experienced in the field of Industrial or business development· International business experience with knowledge of international cultures and customs; prior experience living in UAE is strongly preferred· In depth understanding of UAE industrial development programs/policies, including familiarity with required supporting activities such as sight surveys, contractors’ oversight, agreement negotiations and post-performance reporting.· Well versed in industrial development/offsets and countertrade arrangements. Specifically, within the UAE and Middle East region.· Demonstrate excellent customer relations skills.· Excellent verbal, written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills necessary to clearly communicate with multiple levels of business, government, and leadership.· Team Player – demonstrate ability and effectiveness at organizing and motivating a diverse set of individuals in pursuit of common objectives· Ability to understand and interpret international customers' needs and requirements and communicate them back to Business Areas.· A willingness to travel worldwide without restriction.· Must be able to operate and thrive in a fast-paced international environment.· Must be self-motivated and able to operate with minimal guidance and succeed in a highly competitive arena. Desired skills, qualifications and experience· In depth operational and strategic experience with LMC products and programs and services.· Demonstrated ability to act with diplomacy and discretion with customers, colleagues, and superiors· Demonstrated capture and execution expertise.· Advanced degree in finance, business or a technical discipline.· Strong financial background including evaluation of financial reports, business plans, and economics; through combination of education and related job experience
Qualifications:
