About the role

We are recruiting an IT manager to lead the establishment and operation of site-based IT infrastructure within a complex, large-scale project environment. Reporting to the general manager, this is a high-impact leadership role combining strategic IT planning, hands-on technical delivery, and project governance.

You will act as the key link between site leadership, construction teams, global IT functions, and external vendors—ensuring technology solutions directly support project milestones, operational readiness, and long-term performance.

About the requirements

As IT manager, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing a comprehensive IT project roadmap aligned with construction schedules and operational objectives
• Leading the deployment and commissioning of site-wide IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, data centers, and end-user systems
• Managing day-to-day IT operations to ensure high availability, security, and performance in a 24/7 environment
• Establishing reliable WAN, LAN, WLAN, and communication systems (VoIP, radios, intercoms) across site and remote locations
• Acting as the escalation point for critical IT/OT incidents and overseeing proactive troubleshooting to prevent project delays
• Managing IT budgets, vendors, and service providers while driving standardization, cost optimization, and continuous improvement

About you

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline
• 15+ years of IT experience, including senior IT management roles within large-scale or project-based environments
• Strong expertise in infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, vendor management, and IT service delivery best practices
• Certifications such as ITIL v3/v4, PMP/Prince2, CCNA, MCSE, or enterprise hardware and storage platforms are highly desirable
