Role Summary
Compass Project Consulting is seeking experienced Construction Managers for an immediate secondment assignment with a leading developer in Dubai.
The role will support the delivery of a high-profile luxury residential development currently under construction, comprising high-end apartments and mansion villas.
We are specifically looking for contractor-background professionals with strong site-based delivery experience and practical project management capability. The successful candidates will be heavily focused on driving programme recovery, construction coordination, execution management, and QA/QC performance across assigned project areas.
This is a fast-paced site delivery role requiring strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills within a live construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage assigned construction areas/packages through to completion Drive programme recovery and monitor construction progress against key milestones Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders on-site Monitor QA/QC compliance and ensure work is delivered to the required standards Identify construction risks, delays, and site coordination issues and implement mitigation measures Review construction activities, sequencing, and site logistics Support reporting, progress tracking, and coordination meetings Work closely with the client PM team and supervision consultants to drive delivery objectives Monitor contractor performance and site productivity Ensure safe execution of works in line with project and HSE requirements
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline Minimum 12+ years of construction experience Strong contractor-side background essential Proven experience in high-rise residential, luxury residential, hospitality, or mixed-use developments Strong site delivery and construction management experience Experience in driving programme and coordinating site execution activities Strong understanding of QA/QC processes and construction sequencing GCC experience required, UAE experience strongly preferred Available immediately or on short notice preferred
