Key Responsibilities • Operating Equipment: Safely operate reach trucks to move, stack, and retrieve pallets from high racking locations. • Loading/Unloading: Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, containers, and trailers efficiently. • Inventory Control: Utilize RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) to track, scan, and ensure accurate placement of materials. • Safety & Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment, report defects, and follow all occupational health and safety regulations. • Warehouse Tasks: Assist with general warehouse activities including picking, packing, and racking organization.1 Requirements • Licensing: Valid Forklift/Reach Truck Operator license/certification (mandatory in many regions, such as UAE). • Experience: Generally 1–3 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or warehouse environments. • Skills: Proficiency in operating stand-up reach trucks; familiarity with VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) operations is often a plus. • Physical Ability: Capable of working in high-density environments, including freezers, and able to lift heavy materials Typical Physical Requirements • Capable of working in fast-paced environments. • Comfortable working at significant heights. • Ability to work in cold storage if required.
