Role Overview






  • Support the regional external MRO and repair consultancy team.
  • Provide oversight support for EEMC MRO expansion and Repair processes
  • Provide subject matter expertise on aircraft engine component repair processes to external customers.
  • Consult on repair feasibility and strategic priorities, industrialisation strategies, and risk mitigation for new and existing repair schemes.
  • Support the industrialisation of new and modified repairs from concept through qualification and into stable production.
  • Share best practices related to routings, control plans, and equipment/tooling specifications to ensure process capability and repeatability.
  • Share recommendation for validation/qualification plans (e.g., first article, capability studies) for new repair processes.
  • Analyse process performance data to identify variation, defects, and bottlenecks; recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Drive structured problem-solving (e.g., 8D, root cause analysis) for repair-related issues.
  • Ensure repair processes comply with relevant specifications, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices and benchmark solutions to inform repair strategy.
  • Partner with operations, quality, design engineering, sourcing, and program
  • Maintain GE business metrics providing regular updates to MRO Program Leadership team, project core team & senior steering committee.
  • Implement a standardized communication process and metrics pack
  • Assist in the development, reporting and analysis of first-time yield in the repair processes.
  • Actively support & encourage the use of Lean Six Sigma and change management tools & techniques.

  • MRO development green field expertise
  • Expertise on aircraft engine component repair processes
  • Project management experience

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge and experience in MRO environment
  • MRO Process knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching and leadership skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
