Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a strong and proactive People Operations Lead to manage and support our blue-collar workforce operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience handling labor employees, driving discipline and compliance, implementing HR processes, and improving workforce operations through practical and creative solutions.

This role requires someone who is process-oriented, people-focused, and capable of managing workforce challenges in a fast-paced operational environment.


Key Responsibilities


Workforce & Employee Management

  • Manage day-to-day people operations for blue-collar workforce across projects/sites.

  • Handle labor-related concerns, grievances, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement.

  • Ensure smooth onboarding, deployment, transfers, attendance tracking, and offboarding processes.

  • Maintain strong coordination with site teams, supervisors, and department heads.


HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, accommodation standards, and workforce regulations.

  • Monitor attendance, overtime, leave management, and workforce records.

  • Support visa, medical, Emirates ID, and labor documentation coordination where required.

  • Maintain employee files and HR documentation accurately.


Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Identify operational gaps and implement creative solutions to improve workforce efficiency and employee experience.

  • Develop and improve HR processes, workflows, and reporting systems.

  • Drive discipline, accountability, and operational consistency across sites.

  • Use data, reports, and workforce trends to support decision-making.


Employee Relations

  • Act as the main point of contact for labor workforce concerns and operational HR matters.

  • Conduct regular workforce interactions and site visits to ensure employee wellbeing and operational effectiveness.

  • Support conflict resolution and maintain positive employee relations.


Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly workforce reports.

  • Coordinate manpower planning and workforce allocation with operations teams.

  • Support audits, inspections, and management reporting requirements.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations / HR Operations handling blue-collar workforce.

  • Strong experience in labor handling, workforce management, and operational HR.

  • Good knowledge of UAE labor law and HR operational processes.

  • Strong personality with the ability to manage workforce discipline and site-level coordination.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and reporting skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, HR systems, and operational reporting tools.

  • Creative mindset with the ability to improve and streamline processes.
