Assists the vendors and user groups in designing an appropriate workflow and writing documentation.

Reviews existing systems, system workflow and IT/Business process to evaluate effectiveness and suggest and implement improvements.
Develops new systems/processes to improve business efficiency, productivity and patient/employee satisfaction.
Performs application testing, implementation, system integration, system configuration, system customization, upgrades/updates, user training, managing user access, ensuring high availability of applications, and other duties as assigned.
Oversees project planning, project documentation, training documentation, change control procedures and escalations in case of any deviations for the assigned projects/tasks Responsibilities include working on various new projects related to RIS/PACS and other related imaging applications.
Performs configuration of new or demo modalities and troubleshoots configuration issues.
Supports all end-users for all imaging-related applications, voice recognition systems, teleradiology, CD burners, digitizers, CD Burning and other imaging-related peripherals.
Maintains the windows/security patches on the systems assigned. Periodic review of the data security, backup, disk spaces, database integrity and access rights to the applications.
Maintains imaging ordering systems exam catalogue in EMR.
Oversees the vendor and liaises with the vendor is solve the incidents and requests.
Trains new personnel with PACS system workflow and assessing competency.
Adds new hires and removes inactive personnel.
Maintains user creation and deactivation records.
Maintains the user database (add/edit/delete users/permissions).
Maintains tables - additions deletions, etc. (doctor codes, procedure codes, locations user IDs, etc).
Maintains the site imaging devise configuration files, and maintains records of DICOM settings for all equipment and servers.
Performs scheduled system downtimes and coordination between the departments.
Performs downtime workflow assessment and training for all employees.
Coordinates and oversees for security of the system including verification of backup data and audit logs.
Works with information systems for PACS issue resolutions when the hospital's internal network is involved.
Investigates, identifies, and prepares proposals to solve specific operational problems within all clinical operational areas, working closely with unit operations managers and division heads as well as involving the next level of administration as appropriate.
Develops operating standards, policies, and procedures.
Reviews feedback from customers, compiles and analyzes support data, and recommends procedural and educational changes as appropriate.
Works closely with radiology's quality management personnel to identify and design future needs and efficient workflow processes, which include further integration into operations.
Logs all incidents and issues into the tracking system, referring those requiring specific expertise to the appropriate person or team.
Participates in rotating call schedules to cover the needs of the Hospital 24/7 as determined by the supervisor.
Keeps the IT Management informed of all events affecting the timely installation and successful operation of the systems.
Performs other duties and responsibilities for which the individual is qualified, as requested by IT Leadership.
Assists the manager in preparing system specifications and tender documents for enhancements or changes.
