Job Summary

Desert Man Transporting and Contracting UAE is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Engineer specializing in Potable Water Networks and Fire Hydrant Systems to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing infrastructure and utility projects across the UAE, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with local authority standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise potable water and fire hydrant infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.

• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and government authorities.

• Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

• Monitor project schedules, progress, quality, and safety compliance.

• Prepare project reports, method statements, RFIs, material submittals, and work schedules.

• Ensure compliance with UAE municipality and utility authority regulations.

• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and operational issues.

• Lead project meetings and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

• Support procurement and material planning activities.

• Ensure all works are executed according to approved standards and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 10 years of UAE experience in potable water and fire hydrant projects.

• Strong knowledge of infrastructure works, pipelines, HDPE/DI piping systems, valves, chambers, and fire protection networks.

• Experience dealing with UAE authorities and consultants.

• Excellent project management and site coordination skills.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

• UAE Driving License preferred.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 10 years of UAE experience in potable water and fire hydrant projects.
