Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and optimize the supply chain process by analyzing logistics data and identifying areas for improvement, ensuring efficient delivery of goods.

  • Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and carriers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely and cost-effective transportation solutions.

  • Monitor inventory levels and track shipments, utilizing advanced software systems to forecast needs and prevent supply shortages.

  • Liaise with suppliers for delivery schedules and shipment updates.

  • Negotiate transport rates when needed.

  • Arrange and track inbound and outbound shipments (air, sea, land).

  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, transport companies, and suppliers.

  • Handle clearance processes with customs brokers.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for shipments, including bills of lading and customs paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulations.

  • Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations and company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is essential for a strong foundational knowledge.

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles is preferred, showcasing a proven track record in the industry.

  • Knowledge of UAE customs, shipping terms (Incoterms), and freight processes.

  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CLTD) will be a significant advantage for career advancement.

  • Experience with logistics software (e.g., SAP, ) and Microsoft Office Suite is crucial for daily operations and reporting.
