Role Summary
The Sales Country Head – Copper Division is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for driving regional and international business growth for TGI’s copper and non-ferrous metals portfolio. The role focuses on expanding market share across the UAE, GCC, MENA, Europe, India, and China while managing strategic customer relationships within transformer, switchgear, cable, and power distribution industries.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in copper manufacturing/trading, LME-based pricing, international trade operations, and industrial sales leadership, supported by an established network across global copper-consuming markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Sales & Business Development
Lead sales growth for Copper Rods, Busbars, Strips, Cathodes, Foils, and related non-ferrous products.
Develop and execute regional and global expansion strategies across GCC, Europe, India, China, and MENA.
Build strong relationships with major industrial consumers, OEMs, transformer manufacturers, and cable companies.
Achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
Identify new markets, industrial sectors, and distribution opportunities through ongoing market intelligence.
2. Copper Market & Pricing Expertise
Manage LME-linked pricing structures, premiums, and market fluctuations.
Provide strategic insights on global copper price movements and procurement timing.

Oversee end-to-end import/export operations and documentation.
Ensure compliance with international trade standards and quality certifications.
Handle shipping terms including CIF, FOB, and DDP.

4. Financial & Risk Management
Enforce strict payment and non-credit policies.
Protect company hedging positions through strong commercial negotiations.
Coordinate sales planning with finance and production teams.
Lead forecasting, budgeting, margin management, and revenue planning.

Professional Experience
10–25+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Commercial Leadership.
Minimum 7–10 years of direct experience within the GCC/UAE Copper or Non-Ferrous Metals industry.
Proven track record in Copper Manufacturing, Trading, Industrial Supply, or Metal Distribution.
Strong exposure to international markets including GCC, MENA, India, China, and Europe.
Industry Expertise
Deep understanding of:
Expertise in LME-based pricing, premium calculations, and market fluctuations.
Experience dealing with transformer manufacturers, cable companies, switchgear, and power distribution sectors.
