Roles & Responsibilities
- Senior Pipeline QS with expertise in pipeline activities, collaborating closely with Field Engineering, Procurement, Cost Control, Construction, and Contracts teams to manage quantity and cost control workflows.
- Skilled in identifying project risks based on contract documents, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring minimal cost and schedule impacts.
- Proficient in submitting fortnightly risk reports and mitigation plans aligned with EPC/Contractor performance.
- Experienced in developing strategic plans and advising management on cost-controlled solutions for claims raised by contractors, while cross-checking MTOs with AFC drawings to update procurement needs.
- Strong knowledge of project design methods, construction monitoring, and lifecycle planning from quantity and material scheduling to coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (piping, mechanical, civil, E&I).
- Hands-on experience with tie-ins, pre-shutdown, and shutdown activities, including material requisition packages.
- Adept in field change approvals (FCN, DCN), site variations, test pack verifications, and as-built requirements.
- Well-versed in Installation Work Packages (IWP) and Workface Planning (WFP) to implement Advanced Work Package (AWP) methodology, ensuring milestone-based execution.
- Proficiency in MS excel for controlling the Materials
- Ability to reconcile the materials released to sub-contractor.
- Proficiency on AutoCAD for reading Alignment sheets drawings and basilar knowledge of related pipeline design
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 5-10 years' experience
With experience working in Oil & Gas Projects
Advantage if with experience working in EPC company in ADNOC Projects.
