This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Preservation Supervisor with experience executing hands-on preservation activities for all equipment for a high-profile client.

Job Objective
To plan, supervise, and execute hands-on preservation activities for all equipment, materials, and systems during storage, construction, and pre-commissioning phases, ensuring asset integrity, compliance with project specifications, and readiness for commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities:
1. Preservation Planning & Execution
- Implement the Project Preservation Plan in line with ADNOC and EPCM standards
- Ensure preservation from material receipt through to commissioning/start-up
- Understand interpretation and implementation of Material Safety Data Sheets
Plan preservation requirements for:
- Static equipment (vessels, tanks, exchangers)
- Rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines)
- Piping systems and valves
- Electrical, instrumentation, and telecom systems
- Apply preservation techniques such as:
- VCI (Vapour Corrosion Inhibitors)
- Nitrogen blanketing / purging
- Protective coatings and sealing
2. Supervision & Coordination
- Supervise preservation technicians, subcontractors, and vendor personnel. Coordinate closely with:
- Construction
- QA/QC
- Warehouse & logistics
- Commissioning teams
- Interface with OEM vendors to ensure compliance with manufacturer preservation requirements
3. Inspection, Monitoring & Compliance
- Conduct routine preservation inspections and audits
- Monitor environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, corrosion risks)
Ensure compliance with:
- ADNOC HSE standards
- Project specifications
- International codes (API, ISO, NACE)
- Participate in client inspections, walkdowns, and punch-list clearance
4. Documentation & Systems Management
- Maintain and update Preservation Management System (PMS) (e.g., WinPCS, Zenator, and/or GoTechnology)
Prepare and manage:
- Preservation procedures and method statements
- Inspection reports and logs
- Preservation checklists and records
- Ensure full traceability for handover and audit purposes
5. Interface with Commissioning & Handover
Support completion and commissioning teams during:
- System handover
- Mechanical completion verification
- Ensure preserved equipment meets operability and warranty requirements before start-up
6. HSE & Quality Assurance
Enforce strict adherence to:
- Permit to Work (PTW) systems
- PPE compliance
- ADNOC HSE policies
- Promote a zero-harm culture and safe work practices
- Ensure all activities meet quality standards and project KPIs

Expected:
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in related discipline
- Minimum 15 years in Oil & Gas EPC/EPCM projects
- At least 5+ years in a supervisory preservation role
- Experience on major CAPEX projects (ADNOC or equivalent operators preferred)
Strong knowledge of:
- Preservation techniques and methodologies
- Rotating & static equipment preservation
- Preservation during storage, construction, and commissioning
- Familiarity with:
- PMS tools (WinPCS, Zenator, and/or GoTechnology .)
- International standards (API, ASME, ISO, NACE)
Ability to interpret:
- P&IDs, line lists, datasheets, vendor manuals
