Roles & Responsibilities
Installation, configuration, & maintenance of systems, servers, hardware, and software.
Manage and optimize enterprise-grade LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure.
Configure L2/L3 switching, VLANs, Inter-VLAN routing, and Spanning Tree protocols.
Implement and maintain Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), VPN gateways (IPsec/SSL), and Network Access Control (NAC) to ensure institutional data integrity and compliance.
Manage and monitor on-premises and cloud-based server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Management.
Oversee campus-wide Wi-Fi performance, heat mapping, and secure guest/faculty authentication (802.1X/RADIUS).
Implement and utilize SNMP-based monitoring tools to analyze, identify, and manage bottlenecks and capacity planning for future campus expansion.
Provide support and configuration for campus integrated audio-visual systems.
Maintain robust backup schedules and contribute to the Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
At least 60% marks and consistently good academic record
CCNA or equivalent
Other Certification in relevant IT and AV technologies
