Job Summary
The Farm Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day farm operational activities, manpower deployment, farm records, internal communication, material requirements, and administrative support for the smooth functioning of Camelicious farm operations. The role acts as a coordination link between farm management, supervisors, veterinary teams, milk production teams, HR, procurement, stores, maintenance, logistics, and other support departments.
Key Responsibilities
Farm Operations Coordination
Coordinate daily farm operational schedules, manpower allocation, task follow-ups, and activity tracking as instructed by the Farm Manager / Farm Director.
Support coordination between milking, feeding, animal care, veterinary, maintenance, hygiene, and general farm support teams.
Ensure daily operational updates, issues, manpower gaps, and urgent requirements are communicated to the relevant supervisors and management.
Assist in tracking farm activities related to milk yield, animal movements, feeding requirements, cleaning schedules, and general farm work plans.
Records, Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate farm-related records, registers, attendance inputs, overtime inputs, leave coordination, and operational reports as required.
Compile daily, weekly, and monthly farm operational data for management review.
Support documentation related to animal records, production records, mortality / incident reports, staff deployment, material usage, and farm equipment usage.
Coordinate with HR for staff attendance, accommodation-related concerns, leave schedules, disciplinary matters, and manpower requirements.
Interdepartmental Coordination
Coordinate with Stores and Procurement for farm consumables, tools, uniforms, cleaning materials, animal feed-related items, and operational supplies.
Coordinate with Maintenance for farm equipment repairs, breakdown follow-ups, water supply issues, vehicle requirements, and facility-related maintenance.
Liaise with Logistics / Fleet teams for internal vehicle requirements, transport support, movement of materials, and operational trips.
Coordinate with Quality, HSE, and Veterinary teams for compliance-related actions and documentation.
Compliance, Hygiene & HSE
Support implementation of farm hygiene, biosecurity, animal welfare, food safety, and HSE requirements.
Report unsafe conditions, hygiene deviations, equipment issues, animal welfare concerns, and operational risks to the concerned supervisor immediately.
Ensure employees follow assigned work instructions, PPE requirements, and farm movement controls.
Administrative Support
Prepare internal requests, material requisitions, manpower requirement details, and follow-up documentation.
Support farm visitors, audits, inspections, and internal management visits by ensuring readiness of required information and coordination.
Perform any other farm coordination or administrative duties assigned by management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred
Experience 2–4 years of coordination / administration experience, preferably in farm, dairy, livestock, food production, or FMCG environment
Technical Skills MS Office, Excel reporting, record keeping, operational coordination, basic understanding of farm operations
Language English required; Hindi / Urdu / Arabic advantage
