Roles & Responsibilities

  • Range planning and open-to-buy (OTB) management across all our trading channels (own website, TikTok Shop, Debenhams Marketplace).
  • Daily and weekly trading analysis — sell-through, rate of sale, full-price percentage, stock cover.
  • Pricing strategy — including initial pricing, markdown timing, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Inventory purchasing decisions — what to reorder, what to discontinue, what to launch.
  • Building and maintaining Excel-based trading dashboards for the senior team.
  • Line-managing an Import Merchandiser — coaching them on supplier follow-through, PO accuracy, and on-time landing.
  • Liaising with the UK buying team to align on range direction and trading priorities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2 years' e-commerce retail experience — ideally fashion or apparel.

  • Strong commercial mindset — comfortable making fast pricing and re-buy decisions.

  • Advanced Excel: pivots, lookups, SUMIFS, ability to build OTB and rate-of-sale dashboards.

  • Demonstrable margin and sell-through KPIs from previous roles — be ready to talk numbers.

  • Experience at a regional e-tailer (Noon, Namshi, Amazon, 6thStreet, Ounass, SHEIN, Sivvi, Bloomingdale's-ME, etc.) is a strong plus.

  • Fluent written and spoken business English — non-negotiable.

  • Currently UAE-resident, or with prior UAE work experience.

  • Hands-on use of AI demand-forecasting tools (Stylumia, Heuritech, Trendalytics), dynamic pricing engines (Prisync, Competera), or LLM workflows (ChatGPT, Claude) to speed up range planning and trend analysis.

  • BigCommerce, Shopify Analytics, Looker, or Power BI exposure.

  • TikTok Shop trading experience.

  • Multi-territory trading experience (UK + GCC).
