About the role

Our client, a leading holding company, is seeking a Finance Director to join their team. As a Finance Director, you will be leading a team of accountants and reporting to the CEO. The ideal candidate will have retail and luxury experience, strategic financial leadership, and stakeholder management experience, which will align successfully in the organization.

About the requirements

• Lead and oversee the full finance function, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across retail and luxury retail operations
• Drive financial strategy to support business growth, profitability, and expansion within the retail and luxury retail sector
• Ensure strong financial controls, governance, and compliance with local and international regulatory standards
• Partner with senior leadership to provide commercial insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and advisors

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) are highly desirable
• Minimum 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with a strong background in retail and luxury retail
• Fluent Arabic speaker, with strong communication skills in a senior executive environment
