Roles & Responsibilities

Position: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Dubai
Industry: High-Rise Construction
Experience: Minimum 10 Years in UAE High-Rise Projects


Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong expertise in both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract activities for high-rise building projects in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, tendering, budgeting, subcontract management, billing, variations, claims, and overall project cost control.


Key Responsibilities


Pre-Contract

  • Quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.

  • Review tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

  • Evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotations and prepare comparisons.

  • Prepare tender submissions, budgets, and cost plans.

  • Assist in value engineering and cost optimization.


Post-Contract

  • Monitor project costs and commercial performance.

  • Handle subcontractor billing, certification, and final accounts.

  • Prepare variations, claims, and monthly commercial reports.

  • Conduct site measurements and valuation of executed works.

  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and clients on commercial matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying.

  • Minimum 10 years of UAE experience in high-rise construction projects.

  • Strong knowledge of pre-contract and post-contract commercial activities.

  • Experience in handling residential/commercial tower projects.

  • Good knowledge of UAE market rates and FIDIC contracts.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Desired Candidate Profile
