Roles & Responsibilities

1. Prepare, submit, and track Material Submittals (MAS) for client and consultant approvals.

2. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain samples, quotations, technical data sheets, and compliance documents.

3. Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQ to ensure material compliance with project requirements.

4. Evaluate interior fit-out materials including finishes, joinery, furniture, flooring, ceiling, wall finishes, and decorative elements.

5. Ensure all submitted materials comply with UAE authority regulations, fire safety standards, and project specifications.

6. Maintain material approval trackers and ensure timely follow-up with consultants and project teams.

7. Coordinate with procurement, design, estimation, and site teams for material selection and approvals.

8. Conduct site inspections to verify materials delivered and installed match approved samples and specifications.

9. Support value engineering initiatives by proposing cost-effective alternative materials without compromising quality and design intent.

10. Attend consultant/client meetings related to material approvals and technical clarifications.

11. Maintain proper documentation and records of approved/rejected materials and technical submissions.

12. Monitor project timelines and ensure material approvals are aligned with construction schedules.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.

2. 2–6 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out, joinery, or construction industry.

3. Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, joinery items, and fit-out execution standards.

4. Experience in preparing and managing Material Submittals (MAS) and consultant approvals.

5. Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and fire-rated material requirements.

6. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and material tracking systems.

7. Strong coordination and communication skills with consultants, suppliers, and project teams.

8. Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

9. Good organizational skills with attention to detail and deadline management.

10. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

11. Immediate joiners or candidates available within short notice will be preferred.
