Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee all carpentry production processes, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines, from raw materials to finished products.
• Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures at every stage, minimizing defects and guaranteeing superior craftsmanship in all carpentry work.
• Manage and mentor a team of carpenters, providing training, performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels, minimizing waste, and preventing downtime.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures, promoting a safe working environment and minimizing workplace accidents and injuries.
• Maintain factory equipment, including machinery and tools, ensuring proper maintenance and timely repairs to maximize operational efficiency.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and services at competitive prices, managing budgets and controlling costs effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Holds certifications in relevant areas such as safety, quality control, or project management, demonstrating commitment to professional standards.
• Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in a carpentry factory environment, with a proven track record of successful project management.
• Possesses a relevant degree or diploma in carpentry, wood technology, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in carpentry principles.
• Demonstrates physical stamina and the ability to work in a factory environment, with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks.
