Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Site Engineer with experience in civil works, MEP, fit & finish.The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, timelines, and UAE construction standards. Experience in Villa Renovation/Extension projects will be a strong advantage.

Execution & Supervision:

• Supervise day-to-day MEP site activities in line with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.

• Monitor MEP progress against schedules, proactively identifying risks, delays, and coordination issues.

• Coordinate with MEP subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and sequencing of works.

• Monitor, supervise and coordinate with various contractors in the discipline of civil, fit-out works to achieve timely delivery at defined quality standards.

• Ensure compliance with project quality standards, safety regulations, and UAE construction codes.

Construction Coordination:

• Coordinate with MEP subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and sequencing of works.

• Interface with civil, architectural, and fit-out teams.

• Liaise with consultants for inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications.

Quality Control & Compliance:

• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures on site.

• Conduct regular inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented where required.

• Ensure all works comply with approved method statements and material submittals.

Drawings & Technical Support:

• Review construction drawings and resolve site-level technical issues.

• Coordinate with Inhouse teams, contractors, IDs, consultants & various agencies to prepare and submit RFIs, shop drawings, and as-built documentation as required.

• Support value engineering initiatives without compromising quality or compliance.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

• Enforce MEP-specific HSE requirements, ensuring safe execution of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing works to UAE standards.

• Identify potential hazards and ensure preventive measures are implemented on site.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and inspection records.

• Support project close-out documentation and handover processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

• At least 5 - 8 years of relevant UAE experience as a Site Engineer with experience in Civil works, MEP and projects delivery.

• Hands-on experience in construction contract administration in compliance with Dubai statutory codes, DSC standards, and Dubai Municipality (DM) regulations.

• Proven track record in supervising MEP installation works across active construction sites.

• Solid technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems

• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, local authority regulations, and building codes.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in MS Office and basic construction software/tools.
