Review of customer proposed terms and conditions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nServe as the point of contact for customers on contractual matters. Act as contractual \"middleman\" between company employees and customers, ensuring timely review and approval\/reconciliation of variations.<\/p>\n
On all standard and nonstandard contracts, provide redlined recommendations and often negotiate directly with customer attorneys or purchasing staff until consensus has been reached.<\/p>\n
Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects.<\/p>\n
As needed, guide on contract matters to project managers or other operational staff, including training to new project managers and other employees in contracting practices and procedures.<\/p>\n
Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy as appropriate, contribute to or influence company policies.<\/p>\n
Monitor compliance by company employees with established procedures. Identify areas of recurrent pressure.<\/p>\n
Work with risk management department and finance to coordinate contractual insurance requirements.<\/p>\n
Handle ongoing issue and change management.<\/p>\n
Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.).<\/p>\n
Oversee service level agreement compliance.<\/p>\n
Ensure contract close-out, extension or renewal.<\/p>\n
Inform themselves of the relevant quality, environmental, safety and occupational health policies, manuals and procedures in place within the company, and ensure continued compliance with these requirements while employed.<\/p>\n
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/h4>\n\n- A degree or diploma in an engineering discipline is required.<\/li>\n
- RICS or similar certifications preferred.<\/li>\n
- Seventeen or more years of working on multi-million dollar projects within the construction field.<\/li>\n
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.<\/li>\n
- Demonstrates determination, desire to succeed and a wish to progress and develop within a commercial role.<\/li>\n
- Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel and strong user skill level within MS Office or Primavera.<\/li>\n
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.<\/li>\n
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/p>
