NHAUS DESIGN LABS is seeking a talented and driven Architect to join our Abu Dhabi studio. The successful candidate will contribute to a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, hospitality, civic, and mixed-use projects across the UAE — working from concept design through to construction documentation and site delivery. This role suits a design-minded professional who blends creative thinking with technical precision and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, schematic designs, and detailed design packages aligned with project briefs, client vision, and regulatory requirements.
• Produce technical drawings, construction documents, and BOQs to a high standard of accuracy and coordination.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, and interior teams to ensure design integrity across all disciplines.
• Prepare and submit drawings for authority approvals (Abu Dhabi Municipality, DMT, ADM, Estidama, Civil Defense, etc.).
• Conduct site visits, supervise construction progress, review shop drawings, and resolve site-related design issues.
• Support feasibility studies, massing exercises, and master-planning workstreams as required.
• Present concepts and proposals to clients with clarity and professionalism.
• Maintain quality control and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• Minimum 4–7 years of professional experience, preferably within the UAE or GCC market.
• Proven experience taking projects from concept through to construction and handover.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, Estidama Pearl Rating, and authority approval processes.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.

Skills

Desired Skills

• Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator). Experience with Lumion, Enscape, or 3ds Max is a strong advantage.
• Technical: Solid understanding of construction detailing, materials, specifications, and sustainability principles (Estidama / LEED).
• Design: Strong design sensibility with a portfolio demonstrating conceptual depth and execution quality.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written English; Arabic is a plus.
• Soft skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
• Team player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
