Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and acquire new B2B clients across target industries.

  • Meet decision-makers (Marketing Managers, Brand Managers, PR, founders) and qualify opportunities.

  • Gather briefs and propose solutions (content strategy, video/photo production, social media management, paid campaigns, event coverage, etc.).

  • Create compelling proposals including deliverables, timelines, pricing, and revision scopes.

  • Negotiate contracts, retainer packages, and payment terms; close deals to meet monthly targets.

  • Coordinate handover to account/creative/production teams; ensure alignment on scope and deadlines.

  • Drive account growth through upselling/cross-selling services.

  • Track pipeline and performance in CRM; provide weekly/monthly reports.


Requirements

  • 3–8 years of BD/sales experience in corporate events, event management, exhibitions, hospitality, or experiential marketing.

  • Proven ability to win new corporate clients and close profitable event contracts.

  • Strong experience handling RFP/RFQ, building cost options, and submitting proposals on time.

  • Excellent proposal writing and pitching skills (concept outline, deliverables, run-of-show, timelines).

  • Strong commercial mindset: budgeting, margin protection, value engineering, and change orders.

  • Strong vendor/partner coordination skills (venues/hotels, AV, staging, decor, catering, printing, logistics, security).

  • CRM proficiency, structured pipeline management, and strong reporting discipline.

  • Flexibility to support peak periods and event days when required.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to secure new corporate clients for our media/marketing services, prepare proposals, and close deals. The role includes pitching services (content, production, social media, campaigns) and growing long-term accounts.
