Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager – Finance to lead the organization’s financial planning, reporting, compliance, treasury, and risk management functions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving financial stability, profitability, and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
Prepare financial and management reports for senior leadership
Drive budget preparation, quarterly reviews, and financial forecasting cycles
Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and insights
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations
Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders
Ensure audit findings and recommendations are effectively implemented
Financial Control & Risk Management
Establish and maintain strong internal controls and governance frameworks
Identify financial risks and implement mitigation measures
Monitor financial performance, variances, and operational efficiency
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning
Oversee banking relationships and funding activities
Optimize capital structure and cost management initiatives
Cost Management & Profitability
Analyze operational costs and recommend efficiency improvements
Support pricing strategies and profitability enhancement initiatives
Provide financial insights for business expansion and investment decisions
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
Set KPIs and ensure high team performance and accountability
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
Business Partnering
Partner with department heads to support operational and strategic decisions
Support mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, or expansion initiatives where applicable
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
MBA is preferred
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is highly preferred
10–15+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles
Strong understanding of financial management, accounting standards, and compliance regulations
Experience in manufacturing or regulated industries is preferred
