About the role
Our client, a leading FMCG/manufacturing company, is seeking a Brand & Portfolio Executive to help shape the long-term strategy of its smoke-free products business across the cluster. You will drive consumer-centric initiatives, develop brand equity toolkits, and support portfolio growth through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration.
Job responsibilities
- Support the GCC smoke-free products portfolio roadmap across the category, in line with company’s regional and global innovation pipeline.
- Follow the company innovation process and facilitate local gate approvals to enable timely and compliant new product introductions.
- Prepare and coordinate documentation required for product and portfolio approvals.
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify improvement opportunities across key indicators (e.g., market share, sales, volume, pricing, consumer experience, taste segments and insights).
- Review and analyze category portfolio performance to anticipate risks and unlock growth opportunities.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders (product development, packaging, business planning, supply chain and regulatory teams) to support product and packaging development and ensure timely internal and external approvals.
- Leverage best practices from other markets to continuously enhance portfolio planning and execution.
- Develop brand content and campaign that will drive brand awareness, consideration, intent to purchase and loyalty resulting in sales and market share growth.
- Embed global best practices in local content management through the trans-creation of messages, toolboxes and initiatives generated by global teams.
- Work closely with the trade marketing teams across markets for the effective deployment of product and brand communication initiatives.
- Continuously assess and monitor product and brand communications effectiveness, with the support of the market research and consumer insights team.
- Ensure that all P1 SFP portfolio and brand assets are developed in full compliance with local regulations, company's marketing code / RRP guidelines and business conduct principles & practices.
Requirements
- University degree in business administration/marketing; MBA is a plus
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing or brand management, ideally in consumer-centric role
- Excellent English proficiency (written & spoken), Arabic is an advantage
- Excellent project planning and management skills, with a proven ability to structure complex initiatives end to end
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills
