About the role
Our client, a well-established trading company with a dedicated textile manufacturing division, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Dubai. As a Business Development Manager, you will work closely with senior management to drive revenue growth and expand market presence across textile, upholstery, and interior fit-out sectors.
About the requirements
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within furniture manufacturers, interior fit-out contractors, design consultants, and hospitality project stakeholders.
- Promote the company’s textile product portfolio, including upholstery fabrics, drapery, and technical textiles, to targeted clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers such as procurement teams, designers, project managers, and business owners.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and client presentations through to negotiation and deal closure.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing, and new growth opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with internal production and merchandising teams to align client requirements with manufacturing capabilities.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to sustainable revenue growth across the UAE and wider GCC region.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, design, textiles, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within textiles, upholstery fabrics, furniture manufacturing, or interior fit-out industries.
- Strong existing network within interior fit-out companies, furniture factories, and the design/architecture community.
- Good understanding of textile specifications, fabric performance standards, and furniture production processes is preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
