Hiring – Marine Surveyor | Iraq Project | Shafa Group
Shafa Group is currently looking for an experienced Marine Surveyor for a Marine Piling & Infrastructure Project in Iraq.
Location: Iraq
Project Duration: 5–6 Months
Experience Required: 8–12 Years
Key Experience Required:
Marine construction, offshore, and infrastructure projects
Strong experience in tubular piling works (Mandatory)
Marine piling, steel pile, and sheet pile works
Port, jetty, quay wall, dredging, and coastal infrastructure projects
Conducting hydrographic, topographic, and marine surveys for construction activities
Setting out survey coordinates, levels, alignments, and pile positioning works
Experience in survey data processing, as-built preparation, and technical reporting
Coordination with project, engineering, and site execution teams
Operation of modern marine survey instruments, GPS, total stations, echo sounders, and related survey software
Knowledge of marine construction methods, quality standards, and HSE requirements Requirements:
Strong site coordination and technical survey experience
Ability to work in challenging offshore/marine environments
Must be willing to relocate to Iraq for the project duration
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in marine construction and infrastructure projects
Strong mandatory experience in tubular piling, steel piling, and sheet piling related projects
Proven experience in port construction, jetty, quay wall, dredging, and coastal infrastructure projects
Hands-on experience in hydrographic, topographic, and marine surveying activities
Good knowledge of pile positioning, alignment surveys, as-built surveys, and marine survey documentation
Experience using GPS, Total Station, Echo Sounders, AutoCAD, and marine survey software
Strong understanding of marine construction methods, QA/QC procedures, and HSE standards
Ability to coordinate effectively with project, engineering, and site execution teams
Experience working in offshore and challenging marine environments preferred
GCC or international project experience will be an added advantage
Must be willing to relocate to Iraq for a 5–6 month project assignment
Immediate joiners preferred(Notice Period up to 30 days)
