Roles & Responsibilities

  • Master the mise en place: Prepare all ingredients meticulously, ensuring precise cuts, measurements, and organization for smooth service.
  • Execute cooking instructions flawlessly: Follow recipes and chef's directions to produce dishes that meet quality and consistency standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene: Adhere strictly to food safety regulations, sanitizing workstations and equipment throughout shifts.
  • Assist in food preparation: Aid senior chefs in various tasks, from butchering meats to preparing sauces, to expedite service.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent; a culinary degree or vocational training is advantageous.
  • Demonstrates basic food safety certification, such as ServSafe or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is desirable.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar culinary role.
