Roles & Responsibilities

Position Title: Microsoft Cloud Security Sales Specialist Location: United Arab Emirates (UAE) Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years of experience in UAE in Cloud Security Sales / Pre-Sales Education: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or Master’s on Business Management.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are seeking a results-driven Microsoft Cloud Security Sales Specialist responsible for driving revenue growth, building a strong sales pipeline, and engaging enterprise and government customers across the UAE.

The role requires end-to-end ownership of the sales lifecycle, including customer acquisition, opportunity development, solution positioning, and deal closure within the Microsoft Cloud Security domain.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue & Pipeline Ownership

  • Own and deliver assigned revenue targets for Microsoft Cloud Security solutions

  • Build, maintain, and manage a qualified sales pipeline aligned to business goals

  • Ensure consistent pipeline generation, progression, and conversion

2. Customer Engagement & Acquisition

  • Identify, engage, and develop relationships with enterprise and government customers in UAE

  • Conduct customer meetings, discovery sessions, and business discussions

  • Engage with CIOs, CISOs, IT Directors, and key decision-makers

  • Drive new logo acquisition and expand existing accounts

3. Opportunity Development

  • Generate and qualify sales opportunities across security domains

  • Convert customer discussions into workshops, assessments, and deployment opportunities

  • Collaborate with technical teams to define solution architecture and scope

4. Solution Positioning

  • Position Microsoft Cloud Security solutions including:

    • Identity (Entra ID, Entra ID Governance, CIAM)

    • Threat Protection (Defender XDR, MDE, MDI, MDO)

    • SIEM/SOAR (Microsoft Sentinel)

    • Data Security (Purview, MIP, DLP, Insider Risk)

    • Cloud Security (Defender for Cloud, CSPM, CWPP)

  • Align solutions with customer business and security requirements

5. Sales Execution

  • Manage full sales lifecycle: Lead → Opportunity → Proposal → Negotiation → Closure

  • Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and commercial discussions

  • Ensure timely follow-ups and consistent opportunity progression

6. Microsoft & Partner Collaboration

  • Work closely with Microsoft Account Teams, Security Specialists, and PDMs

  • Leverage Microsoft programs (ECIF, CSI, Co-Sell motions) for opportunity generation

  • Coordinate with distributors and partners for joint engagements

7. Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and opportunity data in CRM

  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts

  • Track and report on pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue performance

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Core Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years UAE-based experience in cloud/security sales or pre-sales

  • Strong experience in Microsoft Cloud Security ecosystem

  • Proven track record in:

    • Pipeline generation

    • Opportunity creation

    • Customer engagement

    • Revenue closure

Technical Understanding (Sales-Level)

  • Microsoft 365 Security (E5 Security capabilities)

  • Microsoft Defender XDR suite

  • Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR)

  • Microsoft Entra (Identity & Access)

  • Microsoft Purview (Data Security & Compliance)

  • Azure Security (Defender for Cloud, network security basics)
