Roles & Responsibilities
Provide first aid and basic medical care to students and staff during school hours.
Assess and manage illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies promptly and effectively.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for students and staff.
Administer prescribed medications and monitor students with chronic medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes, allergies, and epilepsy.
Conduct routine health screenings and monitor immunization records as per DOH guidelines.
Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, infection control protocols, and school health p
Coordinate emergency preparedness activities and maintain medical supplies and equipment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
Valid DOH License or DOH Eligibility Letter as Registered Nurse.
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; school nursing or pediatric experience preferred.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Good knowledge of school health protocols, infection control, and emergency response procedures.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
