Roles & Responsibilities

We at Emarat Aloula is seeking a highly accomplished Operations Manager (EPC) with an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background to lead and oversee the execution of complex EPC projects across power, oil & gas, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of operational excellence, stakeholder management, and project leadership within the GCC region, supported by strong technical expertise and PMP certification.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and overall management for EPC project operations, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.

  • Oversee the execution of multiple high-value projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance with technical, commercial, and quality requirements.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, annual business plans, and performance improvement measures.

  • Ensure adherence to company mission, vision, policies, and compliance with local regulations and international standards.

  • Lead operational reviews with Project/Contract Managers and drive action plans for improved efficiency.

  • Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial performance to ensure profitability.

  • Foster strong client relationships, representing the company at key stakeholder, client, and authority meetings.

  • Coordinate with tendering, engineering, and procurement teams during project lifecycle.

  • Identify and mitigate risks by conducting operational and safety risk assessments.

  • Mentor, guide, and develop project teams to build capability and ensure high engagement.

  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, process safety standards, and technical integrity across all EPC operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 15–20 years of proven GCC experience in contracting/construction within EPC projects (power, oil & gas, utilities, infrastructure).
  • Strong track record of managing multiple high-value EPC projects concurrently.
  • PMP Certification is mandatory.
  • Solid understanding of project controls, risk management, engineering design, and construction methodologies.
  • Proven leadership, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (English required, Arabic is a plus).
