Roles & Responsibilities

1. Design & Analysis: Design mechanical systems and components using CAD software, ensuring precision and functionality. Conduct detailed analyses to evaluate product performance under various conditions, optimizing designs for efficiency.

2. Testing & Compliance: Develop and execute test plans, documenting findings to refine designs and ensure compliance with industry standards. Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and other relevant documentation to ensure safe execution.

3. On-Site Leadership: Lead and supervise mechanical installations on-site, ensuring adherence to design specifications, project timelines, and quality standards.

4. Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, identifying and rectifying any defects or deviations from the approved drawings and specifications.

5. Collaboration & Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with electrical and software components. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project requirements and safety regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution, providing a strong foundation in engineering principles.

• Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications, demonstrating a commitment to professional industry standards.

• Experience: * Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in sectors such as automotive or aerospace.

  • Note for construction roles: Up to 8–10 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry is highly valued for site-leadership duties.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools to create and analyze designs.

• System Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems, enabling effective problem-solving and practical application.
