  • Trendz is an economic content creation platform based in the UAE dedicated to bridging the gap between high-level financial insights and engaging digital media. We produce industry-leading content, including our flagship "Investment School" podcast, to empower investors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders across the region.
  • We are looking for a high-energy, strategic, and results-driven Sales/Business Developer to lead our monetization efforts. This is not a traditional sales role; you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our media products—from conceptualizing and enhancing podcast products to pitching sponsorship packages and hunting for new high-value partnerships.
  • The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between creative content and commercial success, ensuring our platform is both a cultural staple and a commercial powerhouse.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • 1. Product Development & Monetization Strategy
  • Analyze and enhance existing podcast products to make them more "market-ready" and appealing to corporate partners.
  • Work closely with top management to develop innovative ideas for platform monetization and operational improvements to drive sales efficiency.
  • Identify ways to leverage our podcast episodes, clips, and guests to create new revenue streams (e.g., workshops, exclusive content, or branded series).
  • 2. Sales, Pitching & Client Acquisition
  • Actively pitch our sponsorship packages and media products to our existing database of contacts.
  • "Hunt" for potential new clients through cold outreach, networking, and industry research.
  • Establish and manage relationships with PR Agencies and media buying houses to secure collaborative projects and long-term partnerships.
  • 3. Project Management
  • Lead the growth of our Mentorship Program by managing the entire lead funnel.
  • Conduct follow-ups with leads, manage inquiries, and oversee the onboarding process for new mentees.
  • Ensure a high conversion rate from interested leads to active program participants.
  • 4. Campaign & Lead Management
  • Launch and manage lead-generation campaigns to attract potential sponsors and mentees.
  • Track lead quality and coordinate with the production team to ensure the "product" matches market demand.
  • 5. Performance & KPIs
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as per the company’s strategic plan.
  • Provide regular reports on sales pipeline, partnership status, and revenue forecasts.
