Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the client’s, consultants, main contractors representatives for the day-to-day quality inspection, and other quality requirements related to projects. Prepared the required PQP, ITPs, Operation and Maintenance manual, Method statements (if required for the project).

  • Assist the project team on the required documentations related to quality at Site.

  • Report to project manager and Head of QA/QC all issues related to quality matters.

  • Ensure that subcontractors are performing their work in accordance to the project quality documents. Review and approve subcontractor’s quality plans and method statements.

  • Ensuring that all test reports and other related specifications are verified to meet the contract requirements. Conducts quality inspections of products and services at certain stages of the operations at the job site when and where required as the products or services has been already completed by the work force.

  • Perform inspection and checking based on approved checklist, ITPs, method statements, and other relevant specifications. Coordinate with site representative for inspection of WIR and MIR.

  • Perform snagging inspection prior project handover to client, and ensure to follow up closure of identified quality issues.

  • Issuance of observations and NCR as required, and follow-up the issued non-conformance report (NCR) to the concern person, and to ensure that the reports are completely filled up until it is closed. Coordinate with the project manager regarding work performance and hold authority to stop work in any area where discrepancies remain uncorrected and/or cancel the stop work order upon satisfactory correction of noted deficiencies.

  • Coordinate with the project team to compile and maintain pertinent records of inspection and testing until end of the contract and all pertinent records for retention on completion of the project. Prepare needed reports such as inspection report, log register, and daily time sheet and records all activities performed at site.

  • Take care of the QA/QC documents including certificates, calibrations, test results, work inspection request, material inspection request, nonconformance or noncompliance reports, site instruction/observation, and other QA/QC documents. Perform other duties assigned by immediate supervisor and the project team applicable to quality.

Desired Candidate Profile

Position Requirements
Qualifications: degree in engineering course.
Experience: 2-3 years.
Skills & Competencies:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Self-motivated and team player.

  • Good organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.

  • Able to read and interpret shop drawings and knowledge in AutoCAD. Environmental Health, Safety and Quality General Responsibilities
