Roles & Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks to ensure seamless connectivity across the organization.

  • Monitor network performance, bandwidth utilization, and system availability while proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.

  • Troubleshoot network, connectivity, and hardware/software-related problems to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.

  • Configure and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems, and access control policies to safeguard company data and systems.

  • Implement network upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain high levels of security, reliability, and performance.

  • Provide technical support for enterprise network infrastructure, remote access solutions, and end-user connectivity issues.

  • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to support infrastructure projects, system integrations, and network expansion initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and security protocols.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational IT standards, cybersecurity policies, and best practices.

  • Assist in disaster recovery planning, backup solutions, and business continuity initiatives related to network operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 2+ years of experience as an IT Engineer, Network Engineer, or in a similar technical support role.

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing/switching technologies.

  • Hands-on experience with network security, firewall management, and troubleshooting complex connectivity issues.

  • Familiarity with enterprise-grade networking equipment and wireless technologies.

  • Ability to analyze technical problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

  • A positive, confident, and proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and work under pressure when required.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and IT infrastructure monitoring tools will be an added
