Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly skilled Logistics & Cross-Trade Operations Coordinator to manage complex global and local supply chain movements. This role is 70% focused on logistics coordination, specifically the management of Cross-Trade (Third-Party) shipments, document switching, and international shipping protocols.
You will be responsible for ensuring that goods flow seamlessly across borders while protecting commercial interests through precise documentation.
Triangular Shipment Management: Execute Cross-Trade operations where goods move directly from an international supplier to an end customer.
Switch Documentation: Expertly manage the "Switch Bill of Lading" process, ensuring the protection of supplier and customer confidentiality.
Coordinate with overseas agents, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to align ETAs across multiple time zones.
Document Issuance: Verify critical shipping sets: Bill of Lading (B/L), Airway Bills (AWB), Certificates of Origin (COO), and Commercial Invoices, Inspection Reports etc.
Discrepancy Control: Review all shipping documents are 100% compliant to avoid customs rejections or port delays.
Local Logistics: Oversee the loading/offloading of local Dubai shipments, ensuring the physical cargo matches the Delivery Note (DN).
System Integrity: High-speed Data Entry into our ERP/Excel trackers to reflect the movement of goods, container numbers, and seal numbers, inventory etc
Local Sourcing: Source logistics services and materials within the Dubai market, negotiating rates with local transporters and clearing agents.
MS Excel Mastery: Using Excel for Logistics Pipeline Management (Track & Trace, landing cost calculations, and document status logs).
Incoterms 2020: Expert-level knowledge of EXW, FOB, CIF, to determine cost and risk responsibilities.
Communication: Professional email proficiency to handle complex instructions with shipping lines and global vendors.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate - who understands and have good knowledge about cross trade documents, how to communicate with local suppliers, warehouse process, email communication, & excel tracker updates.
Experience - 1 to 3 Years
