Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Safely operate vehicles to transport goods or passengers to designated locations while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Manage route planning using GPS and navigational tools to optimize travel time and fuel efficiency while ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured and protected from damage during transportation, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification, demonstrating foundational knowledge and reliability.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, showcasing responsibility and adherence to traffic regulations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience, particularly in logistics or passenger transport, indicating a proven track record.
  • Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting, allowing for quick resolutions to minor mechanical issues on the road.
