Roles & Responsibilities
As a Dental Assistant & Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and provide support to the dental team. Your tasks will be diverse and include:
- Reception Duties:
- Scheduling and managing appointments;
- Answering phone calls and making outbound calls;
- Providing information about dental services and answering patient inquiries;
- Handling administrative tasks, such as managing patient records and documents;
- Reviewing consent forms and health questionnaires;
- Maintaining a tidy and organized reception area;
- Supporting the dental team with various administrative tasks;
- Ensuring compliance with DHA regulations and clinic protocols.
- Assistant Duties:
- Assisting dentists during treatments;
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments;
- Performing basic tasks such as taking X-rays and impressions;
- Supporting patient education and aftercare instructions;
- Assisting with scheduling appointments and daily clinic routines.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a dental or medical setting;
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures;
Preferably holds a valid DHA license or is eligible to obtain one;
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
Flexible, stress-resistant, and able to work in a dynamic environment;
Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
